I can't help thinking that it's an interesting allegory on my state of mind.
In all my work to set up this blog, design it nicely, post on it now and then, etc. -- oh how I love details, oh how I work hard on content -- gee, the only minor thing I am missing is...
... having the actual title of the thing anywhere.

The definition of God is I AM. Of the so-called Devil is WE ARE LEGION. Evolution is toward 'Singularity'. Consciousness is an organizing principle. Spiritual growth is like any other growth: you absorb energy, become aware of it, and via love (sympathetic rapport) and will (directed intent) that energy becomes part of your singular sense of identity.
The 'growth' is in awareness and with that comes power which is always over Self. Archetype meditation has various histories: Shamanic, Jungian, Occult. See author Edwin Steinbrecher's "Inner Guide Meditation" for a good ref for beginners.
My models are mostly based on my personal experiences, not official doctrines. I don't yet understand what it all means, but I trust the path is leading me somewhere. Archetype meditations are my primary focus, but I have many types of meditation I have created on my own.
The fundamental way 'archmeds' works, once you strip off the gloss of process, is: Love is the law, love under will. This is not a novel process. It is simply "unconscious and slow" for most people. Why do I do this? To quote AC, "Why should you study and practice Magick? Because you can't help doing it, and you had better do it well than badly."
